I am a self-help junkie, former advocate for victims of domestic violence, current psychiatric RN, as well as being a recovering victim of Narcissistic abuse.

My goal is to educate, empower, and inspire other abuse victims in understanding more about what happened to them (and how to prevent it from happening again), as well as how to go on and rebuild an amazing life.

Even though I have had a lot of "in the trenches" experience with highly manipulative people of all kinds, I consider myself to be a student of Narcissism, mindset, motivation, healing, and life in general, and am by no means an expert on any of these topics.

It's for these reasons, that when you are reading my information that I encourage you to hold to what helps, and let the rest go.

  1. I am so thankful for finding these podcasts. This past year has been excruciatingly painful with my husband announcing his 8 month affair…his mind games…my memory flash backs of his games…there is too much to tell. I now realise I was dealing with a covert narcissist for the last 29 years…he also has a diagnosis of PTSD from Military service. Alcoholism for the first half of our marriage and me being unaware of his personality disorder…he hid it very well. But with his PTSD for the last 10+ years…the mask has come off…he is unable to hide it. He no longer lives with us…and is very disconnected with his kids…but there is nothing I can do. Therapy for me and my kids… communication with each other has been so healing. Your podcasts have helped me understand my emotions and turmoil within myself. Thank-you…it has helped me give myself peace and forgiveness of my own life. He is still doing crazy things but I have now the knowledge and power to keep it at arm’s length. Thank-you
    Beth
